BSI achieves accreditation from UKAS to certify organizations to the updated BS 10125 standard

BSI, the business standards company, has become the first certification body to receive the official UKAS accreditation status from The United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) for the updated Vehicle Damage Repair standard, BS 10125. The standard sets out the requirements for the processes used in order to carry out safe, quality repairs to accident damaged vehicles.

To gain accredited status, BSI’s processes were independently reviewed by UKAS. BS 10125 was published in November 2014 and was updated in September 2016. This accreditation means that BSI is now able to issue UK accredited certificates to the new version of the standard and the team will begin to transition clients to the new version over the next twelve months.
